| Zero to Hero ia an hour and a half's entertainment aimed at a young audience from 9 to 18 yaers. It is a mixture of Mime, Magic, song, participation and dialogue, woven around the 'Seven Ages of Man' speech by William Shakespeare, "All the world's a stage." It has been seen in many schools in the UK but is particularly suited for situations where comprehension might be a problem - for example overseas where English is a second language. A great part of our communication is non-verbal and this highly visual show draws on Harris's wealth of experience in this area of work. It provides excellent opportunities for follow-up workshops in Clowning, Shakespeare, Mime and Story-telling. These can be conducted either by Chris Harris himself or in-house by permanent staff. Zero to Hero is easily performed in virtually any environment where the sight lines for the audience are good. A stage or platform is always preferable and bright lights help. A sound system is supplied Zero to Hero has been seen at Chaing Mai University, Thailand; American School, Shanghai; Panaga Club, Brunel; Holiday Inn, Miri, Sarawak; Chew Valley School; Orphanage in Saigon; Shopping Mall, Dallas. Check out Chris Harris's other one-man shows, Kemp's Jig, The Beemaster, That's the Way to do it! and Ally Sloper's Half Holiday |
